Erster Tag gegen den Lärm Ereignis

Am 24. April 1996 wurde in New York der erste International Noise Awareness Day auf Initiative der New Yorker League for the Hard of Hearing begangen. Heute hat sich dieser Aktionstag auf mehr als 40 Länder weltweit ausgeweitet. Aktionen und Informationen zum Thema machen alljährlich auf die negativen Auswirkungen von Lärm aufmerksam. Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akustik e.V. (DEGA) organisiert seit 1998 den Tag gegen Lärm in Deutschland im Verbund mit dem International Noise Awareness Day. Normaler Weise findet er an einem Mittwoch in den letzten beiden Wochen im April statt.

April 24, 1996, marked the first Noise Awareness Day spearheaded by the League for the Hard of Hearing in New York City. Today the celebration of this day takes place in more than 40 countries around the World. In Germany this day is organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akustik e.V. (DEGA) since 1998. Usually it is celebrated on one of the two last Wednesday of April.
