Seaworld Announces Last Generation of Orcas in its Care Event

Am 17. März 2016 gab das Unternehmen SeaWorld bekannt, dass es ab sofort sein Orca-Zuchtprogramm einstellen wird. Die Generation von Tieren, die derzeit noch in den amerikanischen Meeres-Freizeitsparks leben, wird die letzte Generation von Orcas in Gefangenschaft sein.

On 17 March 2016, SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. announced that the killer whales – or orcas – currently in the company's care will be the last generation of orcas at SeaWorld. The company will end all orca breeding as of today.
