Public eye Awards 2014 Ereignis

Am 23. Januar 2014 haben die Erklärung von Bern (EvB) und Greenpeace Schweiz die Public Eye Awards verliehen. Gazprom und Gap sind die Gewinner der Public Eye Awards 2014. Das Public Eye wirft ein kritisches Licht auf die Geschäftspraktiken von Unternehmen und bietet eine Plattform, um Verletzungen der Menschen- und Arbeitsrechte und die Umweltzerstörung oder Korruption unter den Augen der Öffentlichkeit und Medien anzuprangern. Ort und Zeitpunkt des Public Eye fallen absichtlich mit dem jährlichen Treffen des World Economic Forum in Davos zusammen.

On 23 January 2014, the Berne Declaration (BD) and Greenpeace Switzerland gave away the Public Eye Awards. Gazprom and Gap are the winners of the 2014 Public Eye Awards. The Public Eye sheds a critical light on irresponsible business practices and provides a platform to publicly criticize cases of human and labor rights violations, environmental destruction or corruption. The date and location of the Public Eye Awards are set deliberately to coincide with the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
