On January 1, 2019, the currently applicable Packaging Ordinance (VerpackV) in Germany will be completely replaced by the entry into force of the Packaging Act (VerpackG). New commitments and the 'Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister' ('Foundation Central Office Packaging Register') are added.
